SimLab Composer\SketchUp integration ? The newest application for Sketchup users

SimLab Composer\SketchUp integration is a free component. With it the sketchup users will get the ability to avail the full features of SimLab Composer within SketchUp. SimLab Composer\SketchUp integration should be set up once the SimLab Composer is installed.

SimLab Composer\SketchUp integration is compatible with SketchUp 8, SketchUp 2013 and SketchUp 2014.

After the set up of SimLab Composer \ SketchUp integration component, the following menu will be included to Trimble Sketchup.

SketchUp user can import all file formats like FBX, OBJ, STEP, IGES, ACIS, 3DM, SolidWorks, Inventor, SolidEdge, 3D PDF, 3D XML, U3D, and STL, supported with SimLab Composer directly to SketchUp.

SketchUp user can also export existing models to any of the file formats like FBX, OBJ, U3D, 3D PDF, and STL supported with SimLab Composer. Existing models are exported directly within SketchUp as a SimLab Archive file (*.zim) and opened with SimLab CAD Viewer on IPad, IPhone and IPod touch.

The existing sketchup model can be converted into SimLab Composer, this will facilitate to open SimLab Composer in mini (plugin) mode automatically. The user can apply mini mode to allocate materials from the material library, to modify 3D PDF settings, and to generate scene states.

SimLab Composer Rendering and Animation editions can be applied to render the current model within SketchUp.

SimLab Composer retain material feature will allow sketchup users to render within SketchUp. Carrying out a rendering within SketchUp will result in updating materials automatically to superior quality rendering materials and making it possible to perform with various stages of the model quicker and easier.
