Material Resizer for sketchup

Justin Geis, the renowned sketchup trainer, presents another useful tutorial for sketchup users. In this sketchup tutorial video, he briefly demonstrates the functionalities of a brand new sketchup extension alias material resize.

This newest sketchup extension can be used to resize materials/images rapidly within your sketchup models. The plugin is developed by Trimble and it is free to use.

The plugin is suitable for minimizing the size of any sketchup model as well as controlling the materials from models which are downloaded from 3D warehouse.

Material Resizer will go through each material in your model and inform you the size of each material. It is then possible to select to resize large materials by selecting one or more, setting the max dimensions, then clicking Go.

The plugin is compatible with SketchUp 2018.
