Maxon is introducing Cinema 4D Release 16 (R16) for superior modeling, rendering and animation
Maxon is planning to launch Cinema 4D Release 16 (R16) in September 2014. This handy 3d application is the latest innovation of the company’s industry-leading 3D motion graphics, visual effects, visualization, painting, and rendering software application.
Cinema 4D R16 contains some advanced features like a modeling PolyPen “super-tool,” a Motion Tracker for incorporating 3D content within live footage smoothly and a Reflectance material channel useful for multi-layered reflections and specularity.
R16 is compatible with both the Mac OS X and Windows platforms. It contains the following exclusive features:-
Animation Features: Motion Tracker – It helps incorporating 3D elements into real-world footage effortlessly and ceaselessly. Footage is tracked automatically or manually, and coordinated to the 3D environment through position, vector and planar constraints.
Interaction Tag – The users can manage 3D objects and performs with the newest Tweak mode to get information on object movement and highlighting. Interaction Tag provides great benefit to technical directors and character riggers as the tag reports all mouse interaction and facilitates object control through XPresso, Coffee or Python.
Modeling Features: PolyPen – It applies the new “super-tool” to paint polygons and polish points. It also facilitates moving, cloning, cutting and welding points, edges of 3D models. Re-topologize complicated meshes can also be performed. It allows snapping for more perfection or to snap to a surface.
Bevel Deformer – The strong Bevel toolset in CINEMA 4D can be used with nondestructively to complete objects or particular selection sets. All latest effects can be produced by animating and modifying bevel attributes.
Sculpting – R16 contains several enhancements and useful features to sculpt with accuracy and develop the overall modeling toolset. The new Select tool allows users to have powerful symmetry and fill options to classify point and polygon selections on any editable object.
Other modeling features in R16 range from latest Cogwheel spline primitive to produce involute and ratchet gears; a new Mesh Check tool to assess the reliability of a polygonal mesh; Deformer Falloff options, and Cap improvements to insert textures efficiently to the caps of MoText, Extrude, Loft, Lathe and Sweep objects.
Rendering Features: Reflectance Channel – The innovative Reflectance material channel in R16 offers more control over reflections and specularity inside a single new channel. Reflectance Channel can create numerous layers for complicated surfaces like metallic car paint, woven cloth surfaces, and options to render individual multi-pass layers for each reflection layer to obtain senior quality realistic imagery.
New Render Engine for Hair & Sketch – A totally fresh unified effects render engine facilitates artists to flawlessly raytrace Hair and Sketch lines inside the similar render pass to provide users superior quality results in a fraction of the time.
