Sketchup Textures

Designers apply texture in their various projects to include some special effects to interior design or any artwork. Texture provides the certain touch of reality to every model.

Just download texture as per your choice and in Sketchup make a new “list” in your materials panel known as “User” or whatever. Then, choose color and “new texture”. Import the downloaded file and it will automatically size it just fine. This can be applied to any surface. One can utilize SketchUp's Paint Bucket tool to paint model with materials like colors and textures.

There are also other types of plugin like The Texture Tool plugin created by TIG on SketchUcation.com which will be utilized to adjust textures. Apply Google SketchUp 8 to regulate the texture in many different ways including: Texture Adjust, Texture Nudge, Texture Rotate, Texture Scale, Texture Shunt and Texture Tweak.
