Autodesk recently declared that a wide array of leading 3d modeling applications as well as game development software can be accessed at free of cost. This exclusive offer is only valid for the students, faculty members, educators and the schools & academic institutions all through the globe. The series of 3d modeling software include 3ds max, Maya, Maya LT, Mudbox and MotionBuilder compatible with various desktop and mobile applications. The softwares should be used for non-commercial educational purposes only.

One can also access various education resources through the Digital STEAM Workshop and Design Academy.
It is expected that with this program, Autodesk can widespread its range of software to 680 million students and educators from more than 800,000 secondary and post-secondary schools in 188 countries worldwide.
This program is the expansion of a U.S. - centric program which was initiated earlier this year, and now extends to the students in the Asia Pacific and European regions.
