How to place an image in uneven (curved) surface with sketchup

At first import any image into sketchup. Then, apply the move tool to set the image in proper position in the uneven surface. Now choose selection tool and right click on the selection tool and choose explode. Use push pull tool and pull the image through the uneven surface. Now opt for the selection tool and group both the image and uneven surface. Now right click and select intersect and click on intersect selected. After this, pick eraser tool and erase all the expanded portions. Now click on paint bucket tool and select the image from material section and apply color picker tool to make a clone of the image and place it in the uneven surface. Select the original image with selection tool and erase the image with eraser tool (right clicking. Now go to edit tool and from drop down lists, select 236 entities to soften all the edges.
