Sketchup Materials Wood
SketchUp contains a set of materials (wood, stone, tile ect.) which are already built-in in Sketchup. There are also some wood textures.
Woodworkers extensively apply sketchup for their plans. Generally their work can be categorized in two segments. Those who draw an in depth drawing of what they plan to create not considering the the final rendering. And those who prefer to get a total idea of having their final result and comprise textures.
Applying materials in SketchUp will be useful for people to be aware of if that piece, created with that particular wood, will look as projected. This is especially significant for people while drawing a piece for a third part, focusing on accurate suggestion what is being constructed.
