Select n Isolate Plugin for Sketchup

This plugin is completely free and compatible with SketchUp 8, SketchUp 2013. The plugin is based on previously launched Isolate Selection script (2005). With this plugin, the sketchup users get the ability to isolate the items already been selected by disguising the remaining detectable entities in the scene. The plugin is ideal to isolate planted components & groups in quickest possible way for smooth exploration and editing.

These items range from any selectable substances like faces, edges, groups, components, dimensions, etc.within your model.

The sketchup users can apply this plugin to find out which entities are disguised through the plugin and it will only expose those entities. This will facilitate the users to utilize the native “hide” command of sketchup to hide substances the users prefer to have hidden.

How to apply the plugin

To Isolate:

• Choose any single component or all components to be isolated.
• Right Click/Context click on the selection and opt for the "Isolate/Reveal" alternative in the context menu

To Reveal:

• Right Click/Context click on anything in your model and choose the "Isolate/Reveal" option in the context menu
