Create the threaded part of an adaptor with sketchup extension like Draw Helix, Upright Extruder and Solid Inspector
Dave Richards, the famous Biomedical Equipment Technician, has presented an exclusive video tutorial. In this tutorial Dave briefly shows that how he applies sketchup to draw the threaded part of an adaptor. Dave utilizes three useful sketchup extensions alias Draw Helix, Upright Extruder and Solid Inspector to create this thread. All these sketchup extensions are available in sketchup extension warehouse.
These extensions are compatible with sketchup 2013 and 2014 and the sketchup users can downloaded and install them by visiting windw and then extension warehouse. The Draw Helix plugin can be downloaded containing the .rb extension. The sketchup users can place it directly into the plugins folder otherwise apply a zipping utility like 7zip to insert it to a zip file. After that modify the extension from .zip to .rbz and go to preferences tab and then extension and click on install extension to set up it automatically.
