Architecture In Perspective 29 – An exclusive conference for architectural illustrators
ASAI has organized Architecture In Perspective 29, a juried international architectural delineation competition that will involve work provided by the most talented fashionable architectural illustrators from all through the globe.
The conference will be held on October 15-19, 2014 in Dallas Texas.
The topics of the conference will include the following:-
Modular Perspective - How to sketch directly in perspective with perfect dimensions through Modular Perspective to visualize objects within real or imaginary space.
Zebra 3D Holographic Imaging - Jimmy Sartain will demonstrate how to setup and print process of holographic images and how these are embedded themselves into the architectural community and the advantages of the hologram provided to the community over the more customary visualization tools like 3D printing and comprehensive 3D Modeling.
MediaLab 3D Solutions – How to create a strong brand value with institutionalizing quality and innovation.
Corgan Media Lab – How to generate non photorelistic rendering out of sketches to watercolors with the application of digital media. Besides, focusing on Adobe® Photoshop® filtering, the class will teach you how to produce styles for transmitting concepts and ideas to clients at different stages in the creative method.

Each year since 1986, ASAI has sponsored Architecture In Perspective, a juried international architectural delineation competition that has included work by the most accomplished contemporary architectural illustrators from around the world. The exhibition consists of approximately 60 pieces of artwork selected by a jury of respected professionals from the fields of architecture, illustration, journalism, and design education. This exhibition travels to various venues throughout the U.S. and overseas.
Six special prizes will be allotted along with three Juror's Awards, Best Formal Drawing, Best Sketch Drawing, and the prestigious Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize. The Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize is the most pretigious award presented by the Society for an artwork in the field of architectural illustration.
