Hands-on training sessions led by SketchUp experts

The sketchup training team arranges practical training classes conducted by SketchUp experts in diversified fields. One can access the courses online through a classroom environment or at their workplace.

 

Classroom: Get acquainted with sketchup in physical classroom surroundings along with nine other students and a trainer and enhance your performance rapidly. The attendees have to carry a laptop computer, a mouse having a scroll wheel.

 

Virtual Classroom: A live instructor conducts all the virtual classes and there are limited numbers of students. The attendees have to bring their personal computer, a mouse and a trustworthy broadband Internet connection.

 

On-site: The sketchup team offers some hands-on training sessions taken by SketchUp specialists in a variety of fields.

SU100: Introduction SketchUp Pro - 1 Day

 

With this course, the sketchup users can learn basic conceptions on how to apply SketchUp Pro all through the design phase. Learn fundamental modeling methods, navigation, organization strategies and presentation work flows with unlimited examples provided by some expert trainers. This course will be carried on 2 phases, 3 hours in the morning, a break for lunch and 3 hours in the afternoon. The course will cover practical exercises and there will be demonstration of techniques for the following skills:

 

• Drawing and modification tools, involving tips for swiftness and effectiveness.
• Making specific selections, utilizing groups or components and the accurate application of the move tool.
• Measurements, precision and guides.
• Creating sections and modifying styles.
• An introduction to LayOut.

SU200: SketchUp PRO Workshop - 2 Day

 

This course is useful for the students who don’t have sufficient knowledge with sketchup and who want to enhance their skills from basics to intermediate level concepts by exploring the superior techniques. This course will focus on the basics of SketchUp as well as practices for professionally utilizing 3D models together with geodata sources, photo-editing applications and documentation software. Practical exercises during this course will reveal techniques for using the following skills:

 

• Import your own materials and line drawings (dwg)
• Shadow and location
• Layers
• Printing and exporting
• Creating style, material and component libraries

Cancellation guidelines

 

For online classes:

 

• If any students fail to be present at a class, he/she should inform at least 24 hours before the commencement of the class and he/she will get a full refund or a credit for a future class.
• Any class may be postponed due to low attendance. The students will be informed with 24 hours notice of a canceled class and will get a full refund or a credit for a future class.
