Phoenix FD 3.0 for 3ds Max is launched by Chaos GRoup

Chaos Group just introduced Phoenix FD 3.0 for 3ds Max. Phoenix FD is extensively applied to simulate realistic water, fire, and other fluid effects for several television series like Game of Thrones and The Flash to speed up the on-the-spot productions. This newest version allows to make visual effects for projects more realistic with the inclusion of new FLIP liquid solver and improved smoke and fire solver.

Phoenix FD 3.0 for 3ds Max is completely revised with new intuitive controls, presets and GPU-accelerated previews to complete any project efficiently within strict deadlines. The new Phoenix FD incorporates consistently into Autodesk 3ds Max and renders with V-Ray.

Phoenix FD can easily deal with everything from flaming arrows and drops of water to erupting volcanoes or an armada of ships.

Phoenix FD 3.0 for 3ds Max contains the following exclusive features :

OCEAN SIMLUATIONS
Infinite ocean ? Produce infinite ocean waves that iterate on no occasion.
Ocean & beach waves ? Consistently switch from procedural ocean waves to simulated beach waves.

SUPERIOR SIMULATIONS AND CONTROLS:

FLIP solver ? Makes quicker and pragmatic liquid simulations for splashes, sprays, foam, mist and waves.
Superior fire and smoke solver ? Create convincing smoke and fire with natural rolling motion as well as fine details devoid of enhancing resolution.
Cascade simulations ? Produce a slew of simulations that instigates and interact with each other.
Refine existing simulations ? Include detail and enhance resolution by maintaining the simulation shape or behavior as it is.

Simulation retiming ? Accelerate or decelerate simulation playback, that is very useful for slow motion effects.
Custom emission sources ? Apply a set of emission sources together with animated meshes, texture maps, particles and more.
New forces ? Influence simulations with forces like wind, spline follow, and mesh attraction.

PIPELINE AND COMPATIBILITY:
Compatibility ? Support top industry tools like Alembic, Krakatoa, Stoke MX and OpenVDB.
