Eneroth develops Eneroth Scaled Perspective for sketchup. This sketchup plugin is compatible with SketchUp 7, SketchUp 8, SketchUp 2013, SketchUp 2014, SketchUp 2015, SketchUp 2016, SketchUp 2017.

This plugin can easily generate perspective views scaled on a specified plane, as for instance at a section cut.

In order to start the functioning of the tool, go to Extensions > Eneroth Scaled Perspective. Put the preferred scale in the dialog window. The scale can be written devoid of units like 1:100 or with such as 1/16":43,7m.

To choose the plane scale to be used, click in the middle. This plane will be perpendicular to the camera direction at all times. For applying the plane of a face or section plane, initially right click it and opt for Align View.

The view will be either saved as a scene and documented in Layout or exported as 2D graphic. While going to make the drawing layout, arrange the height of the viewport/image to the value presented in the dialog for the scale to apply. In Layout, allow 'Preserve Scale on Resize' under 'Sketchup Model' for modifying the ranges of the viewport devoid of rectifying the scale further.

The plugin is also applied to scale parallel views but the native scale field in layout is more authentic for this. If it is required to scale parallel view by applying the plugin, the plane is inapplicable as the scale is equivalent at all depths in the view.

In version 1.1.0, there is a new feature that facilitates to arrange the perspective viewing distance. It is applied to significantly enhance uniformity among scaled perspectives which are presented alongside. After applying this feature, activate the zoom tool (Z), and type in 30 or 35 and press enter to rearrange the camera.

To maintain uniformity among various scaled perspectives, it's is necessary to keep the camera on the equivalent height. To arrange the camera height accurately, active Look Around tool (the eye), type in a height over the model origin and press enter.
