These componets are used for generating different kinds of scaled structures to be applied as working models to transmit ideas to clients as well as present finished projects.
The people has to purchase various architectural models from Arckit and use them to create and reproduce models throught a series of interconnecting components.
The users can also download "architextures," or adhesive vinyl sheets similar to wood floor or stone walls, and make them printable to fix up the exterior or interior of the building. By applying a 3D printer, the components can be designed and printed through the free 3d modeling program alias sketchup.
Arckit allows the architects and newbie designers to simply build up a to scale model of their own designs.
The kits will cost $70 containing minimal components and $400 for maximum components. The kits are expected to be launched in Barnes & Nobles around the country in mid of September.
