Render your models 20 times faster with SU Podium v2.5 Plus for SketchUp
VRs, Cadalog, Inc just introduced SU Podium v2.5 Plus for SketchUp. With this newest version of SU Podicum, the sketchup users can now improve their modeling speed significantly as well as present synergistic, 360 degree VRs with the latest Panorama feature.
After prolonged research, SU Podium v2.5 Plus is transformed from Ruby to C++ and this feature facilitates the plugin to handle SketchUp models and transmit with the photon mapping/ raytracing engine more rapidly (equal to 20 times as compared to previous versions.
The users can render models having complicated geometry, textures, and materials, with a reduced amount of render-times. After testing the plugin, it is detected that Podium v2.5 Plus can export a model to its rendering engine containing 760,000 faces and 145 materials in just 43 seconds whereas the Older versions of SU Podium took more than 12 minutes to accomplish the similar task.
360 degree Podium Panoramas:
v2.5 Plus can make client presentations better by unveiling Podium Panoramas. By applying the new feature, the users will be able to render a 360 degree panorama concerning any SketchUp scene and transfer it to an interactive presentation from directly inside SU Podium.
Panorama presentations can be directly forwarded to clients or set in on a web page, and facilitate the client to regulate a camera to “go through” the design as if they are positioned in the space. For the first time Panoramas transmit far more information in a individual render, and maintain the elegant lighting and photo-realism that can be obtained from a Podium render.
The picture given below, is the demonstration of SU Podium’s Panoramas which is created with Sphere Cast’s VR hosting site (in beta). The Panorama can be produced directly with the help of SU Podium’s image editor.
The existing Podium users can upgrade to the SU Podium v2.5 Plus for $29.95 by visiting the Cadalog webstore, and the first time users have to pay $198 for using it.
SU Podium v2.5 is compatible with both 32 bit and 64 bit versions for Windows 7/ 8 and Mac OS-X. as well as SketchUp 2015 or 2014.
